CAUSEWAY COAST. We make our way back to Belfast along the Antrim Coast Road where we can see fine views of Rathlin Island. The views along this coastline are spectacular, no wonder it is one of the most visited destinations in Europe!

Stop At: Carnlough Harbour, Carnlough Northern Ireland

Our first stop of the day takes us into the picturesque fishing village of Carnlough for a quick comfort break. Series six of Game of Thrones saw Carnlough harbor feature for the first time. This harbor although built in the nineteenth century during the famine years still retains an old-world charm, which meant that it didn’t seem out of place when it first appeared in Game of Thrones.

Stop At: Carrick-a-Rede Rope Bridge, 119A Whitepark Road, Ballintoy BT54 6LS Northern Ireland

One of the most visited places in Northern Ireland amazing Carrick-a-Rede Rope bridge where you can cross a bridge that spans a chasm over 75ft in height. (Please note Crossing the Rope bridge will depend on the time you have on shore. The Carrick-A-Rede Rope bridge may sometimes be closed due to weather conditions or repairs.

There will be a 1-mile walk from the car park to the Carrick-A-Rede Rope Bridge if you have mobility issues, have small children, or use a stroller that can't handle unpaved pathways.

(If you wish to cross the bridge you will need to pre-book your ticket) Please let us know before purchasing your tickets and we will advise of an approx. time of arrival. if you do not wish to cross, we can stop at the viewing point for photos.

BALLINTOY HARBOUR. (The Iron Islands). Ballintoy harbour was the setting for Theon’s return to the Iron Islands as well as some of the areas around Dragonstone. It was here that Theon first met his sister Yara, was baptised in the name of the Drowned God.

You will visit the only UNESCO World Heritage Site in Northern Ireland. Stop at the Giant’s Causeway to enjoy around 1 hour exploring the 40,000 interlocking hexagonal stone columns on the shores of the Atlantic Ocean.

Stop At: Bushmills Distillery, 2 Distillery Road, Bushmills BT57 8XH Northern Ireland

Bushmills Whiskey Distillery has been creating beautiful ‘water of life ‘since 1608 making this the oldest working distillery in Ireland. For those who wish to take a tour at the Bushmills Distillery you will need to pre-book your ticket)

One of the most popular natural phenomena in Northern Ireland, the Dark Hedges were used as a set for the hit TV series Game of Thrones. It was the famous King’s Road in Season 2. The hedges were planted by the Stuart family in the eighteenth century. It was intended to impress visitors as they approached the entrance to their home, Gracehill House. Two centuries later, the trees remain a magnificent sight and have become known as the Dark Hedges.
