Best Cusco walking tour: dinner street food tasting

In this original walking tour through Cusco we take you to the highlights of the historical center, the bohemian streets in San Blas, the local San Pedro market and Qoricancha. Our local tour guide will show you around in the city and will tell stories about the beautiful architecture and history. He will also take you to the local market, where you will see lots of fresh fruit, vegetables and herbs. During this tour, you will participate in a lot of street food tasting. The tour will start in the afternoon, so the tasty street food will have you full for dinnertime. The costs of the tour is 39 USD and will last about 3,5 hours.

Stop At: Mercado Central de San Pedro, Tupac Amaru, Cusco 08002 Peru

We will start our tour here. You will visit the different sections of this old market such us fruit section, artisan section, and more. Learn about the local variety of products and ingredients.


Duration: 1 hour 30 minutes

Stop At: Qorikancha, Avenida El Sol, 3rd block, Cusco Peru

We will walk past the Temple of the Sun (Qoricancha). In this area we will try street food like choclo, anticucho and picarones.

Stop At: Plaza de Armas del Cusco, Cusco 08002 Peru

Then we will discover the historical center. Like Cusco Plaza de Armas, surrounded by some impressive monuments like Cusco Cathedral and Compañia de Jesus Church, built on top of old Inca palaces while you hear all the history of the place. If you want, it's even posiblle to explore the interior of the place, containing paintings and other gold and silver works inside. Here we will try more street food like tamales, ponches, papas and emoliente.
