A superb service and value for your money, the four routes included in the price are very well laid out and you get to see practically the best of what the city offers. It can also be used as inexpensive round trip transportation in lieu of taxis.

Overview: Disclaimer, I love hop on-hop off bus tours. A great way to see lots of sights with pre-recorded narratives.
Departure Details: I booked Turibus on my smart phone after reading the high reviews they received after canceling another company based on numerous negative reviews. We had some difficulty finding the exact pick up point at the Christopher Columbus monument in La Reforma but an astute young lady from the company must have seen us bumbling around and came from across the street to greet us. It then turns out that they need a PAPER COPY of the receipt an electronic one would not do. Not having a printer on this trip I wasn't able to print a hard copy, so another young lady from the company arranged for me to e-mail the receipt to a concierge at the hotel they were working out of so he could print it. Once we had that she escorted us to the stop and waited with us until the bus arrived. Fantastic customer service.
      - The trip: there are four routes that can be taken. We took the Historic Center Tour and the Basilica Tour. The first part of the tour we just rode the circuit and saw the sights then transferred to the Basilica Tour at the Zocalo transfer point. Once we arrived at the Basilica we spent about three hours, but missed our return trip to the Zocalo transfer point by literally one minute. We then had to hang around for an hour until the next departure. Once back at Zocalo the lines were super long to get back on the Historic Center Tour bus AND it started pouring rain with high winds. We ended up abandoning the bus idea, found a fantastic restaurant for dinner Balcon de Zocalo and ended up taking an Uber back to the hotel.
      - Small things I would change: 1 Accept electronic vouchers 2 Shorten arrival/departure times at the end of the day, and 3 have a few more busses at the end of the day.

I've done many of these "hop on, hop off" type tours around the world, this one was disappointing for me as I didn't have as much time to dedicate to it. While the sites and scenery were great the lack of overlap between routes made it difficult to switch between different routes. There just weren't enough stops that overlapped with other routes, forcing you to complete an entire route before choosing another. While a few stops are clearly marked with signs attached to street poles, most of the stops were not clearly marked. Our driver didn't stop at some of the stops, then would park at a stop for 15-20 minutes. If you are short on time I recommend doing just the historic/downtown route. I felt like I spent more time in traffic and parked at stops than sightseeing.
