This tour is specially designed for those visitors who want a more detailed tour with an expert guide, and who wish to walk in the footsteps of Achilles, Hector and the beautiful Helen and learn of how a long lost city was rediscovered.

Besides the Unesco site of Troy, visit the Museum of Troy, which was opened in 2019 and see the unique artifacts excavated around Troy. After the free time for lunch, your guide will explain the mythology surrounding Troy, as well as the history and discoveries of the archaeological excavations from its discovery by Heinrich Schliemann in the 1870s to the present day.

Following your tour, you will re-board our tour bus to be carried back to Çanakkale, to be dropped at your hotel door.

Start the day with a 30 min short drive to the legendary ancient city of Troy. Visit the new Museum of Troy and see the unique artifacts which was found around Troy. In the afternoon visit the site of Troy with a professional English speaking guide and learn about the myths, legends and archaeology of Troy.
