Saco Bravo Waterfall hike (2 days)

Saco Bravo Waterfall hike (2 days)

Spend the night in a cabin in the remote fishing village of Ponta Negra, only accessible by sea or walking trail. Your guide will take you hiking on trails through wild and unspoilt Atlantic Rainforest to the beautiful sandy beaches of Sono and Antigos on the way to Ponta Negra. From Ponta Negra you will explore the remote waterfalls and pools in the Rainforest, including Saco Bravo Waterfall, perched on the rocks overlooking the rough seas.  The natural beauty of the surroundings plus the fresh seafood served on the beaches make this an unforgettable trip.

The perfect escape from big city living!

On this 02 day hiking trip on trails through the Atlantic Forest you will visit the amazing Saco Bravo Waterfall, with its naturally formed infinity pool looking out over the sea.
On the first day we catch the bus in Paraty to the trailhead in Laranjeiras. From there we spend the day hiking on forest trails between the beaches of Sono, Antigos and finally Ponta Negra.
We spend the night in cabin accommodation in Ponta Negra fishing village.
On the second day we have an early start for the hike to Saco Bravo waterfall. After the hike there is time for relaxation at Ponta Negra and then a taxi boat back to the trailhead.
