Stop At: Targoviste, Targoviste, Dambovita County, Southern Romania
Visit the capital of Valacchia, Targoviste, known for its main princely residence of the famous Vlad The Impaler. The first fortification walls were built by Vlad’s grandfather, that is, by the great leader, Mircea the Oldest, who was Prince of Valacchia between the end of the 14th and the beginning of the 15th century, an important figure in Romania’s history. On the contrary, Vlad Dracula built the famous Chindia Tower during the 15th century , which stands out from the courtyard, imposing and beautiful, because it is perfectly preserved.

Stop At: Curtea de Arges, Curtea de Arges, Arges County, Southern Romania
We will then go to Curtea de Arges, where it is located one of the most beautiful monasteries in the South of Romania, a place of Orthodox worship where the Romanian reigns are buried and its oriental decoration and its four towers enchant the visitor.

Day 2: Day 2: Sibiu - Hunedoara - Alba Iulia

Stop At: Castelul Corvinilor, Strada Castelului 1-3, Hunedoara 331141 Romania
Also known as The Hunyad Castle, it is thought to be the place where Vlad Tepes was imprisoned before his depose in 1462. According to this belief, he was held hostage for seven years by John Hunyadi, Hungary's then regent and military leader.
The castle is located near the cities of Deva and Hunedoara, within the historic region of Transylvania, in its south western side, belonging to the county of Hunedoara. Its foundation was laid out by John Hunyadi (Iancu de Hunedoara) in a Gothic architectural style which encompasses Renaissance elements. It is viewed as the most imposing and resplendent castle in Transylvania. John Hunyadi reinforced the monument to make it safer and stronger in the event of an attack or battle, however he also transformed it visually, modifying the decorative elements of the halls and guest rooms and the towers. The castle features towers which are tall and mighty, ideal for defensive tactics and strategies, inner yards and a drawbridge. The wall is double to prevent any possible damage during or in the event of an attack. Corvin's Castle is an impressive tourist attraction, abundant in historic relevance and architectural pulchritude and it would be a pity to visit its sites and not delve into its mysteries, legends and offerings. Visit each room of the castle and analyse the outer and inner decorative elements and fortifications. A stunning castle of Transylvania and the most amazing Gothic-style castle of Romania.

Stoll in the old town along the wide, tree-lined streets of the Habsburg citadel, one of the most impressive in Europe, to discover the historical, cultural and architectural places of interest of Alba Iulia: the Roman Catholic Cathedral – the oldest and most valuable monument of architecture in Transylvania., the Batthyaneum Library, the Orthodox Cathedral of the Reunification, the Babilon Building – housing the National Museum of Unification, the Union Hall, the Apor Palace, the Princely Palace, and the University of Alba Iulia.

Day 3: Day 3: Alba Iulia - Turda - Cluj - Bistrita

Visit the beautiful Turda’s salt mine, impressive by the depth of its location and the history that characterizes it. You'll head down about 400-feet before reaching the submerged wonderland.
Once inside, you'll find an amphitheater, a bowling alley, an underground lake with paddle and row boats, and even a Ferris wheel.

We will go to Bistrita, one of the seven fortified cities that Tuscan Andrea Gromo, in the 16th century, defined as the most beautiful city in Transylvania. But Bistrita is famous for being the true land of Dracula. In Bistrita overnighted also Jonathan Harker in the book of Bram Stoker.

Day 4: Day 4: Bistrita - Targu Mures - Sighisoara

Stop At: Targu Mures, Targu Mures, Mures County, Central Romania, Transylvania
head to Targu Mures, a charming Romanian-Hungarian city with beautiful secessionist buildings built in the dualistic or Austro-Hungarian period that in Transylvania began in 1867 and ended in 1918. The Palace of Culture, the Prefecture, the various places of worship embellish the so-called Rose Avenue, which once housed a great craft market.

Stop At: Centrul Istoric Sighisoara, Piata Cetatii Nr.1 Center of Sighisoara, Sighisoara 545400 Romania
We will continue our journey to Sighisoara, a famous and romantic fortified town whose historic center is UNESCO heritage and whose colorful houses remind us of its glorious past. The Tower of the Clock, symbol of the city, shows itself in all its beauty, and its streets and churches of different cultures lead us into a multicultural and multi-confessional city. Here, among other things, was born Vlad Dracula in 1431.

Then we will reach Brasov, also known by the German name of Kronstadt. It has a beautiful historic center, with the beautiful Council Square and an interesting neighborhood where the 16th century Gate Ecaterina and 19th century Gate Schei are located.

Day 5: Day 5 - Brasov - Bran Castle - Peles Castle - Bucharest

In the morning we depart to Bran, to arrive at the famous Castle of Dracula, built during the 14th century over a large rock covering a hill. The Gothic-style castle, famous for the legend of Vlad the Impaler, is also appreciated for its modest and refined interiors, chosen by Queen Mary in the 1920s when she received the castle.

Visit to the fabulous Peles Castle, the summer residence of the first king of Romania, the King Charles 1 of Hohenzollern, of German origins. The castle was beautifully designed by a Czech architect, and is famous for being one of the most modern castles in Europe at the time of its construction, between the 19th and 20th centuries. Each room is characterized by a unique style, different from the styles of the other rooms. We will also admire the Florentine room, where we will breathe a typically Italian and Renaissance atmosphere.
