Private Pike Place Market Tour and Cooking Class with a Local

Discover Pike Place market through the eyes of local who considers it her favorite market to shop! Autumn introduces you to her favorite vendors while shopping for ingredients for your Pacific Northwest cooking class.

After the market tour, join Autumn in her modest Green Lake apartment for a 2-hour cooking class. Autumn has a wonderful way of sharing and explaining cooking techniques that you can replicate at home. Enjoy this authentic food experience with a Culinary Institute graduate who also has a masters in gastronomy. Immerse yourself in the culture and cuisine of Seattle with this delightful local host!

This is a unique opportunity to discover the produce at Pike Place market and visit the home of a local and explore Seattle culture and cuisine. During your 1-hour market tour, Autumn introduces you to her favorite vendors selling everything from blackberries and salmon to honey. With a basket in hand, pick up local and seasonal ingredients for your meal and hop on the light rail train. After 4 stops, make your way to Autumn's Green Lake home to begin your Seattle cooking class. You are also welcome to drive to Autumn's home in your car if you prefer.

Autumn shares her small and modest but welcoming apartment with her partner Shane and two cats. Enjoy a refreshing drink before joining her in her small kitchen to create a fresh and seasonal Pacific Northwest meal. During your 1.5 hour hands-on Seattle cooking class, learn to sear fish or roast chicken, create a delicious salad and learn techniques involved in making a sauce that accompanies your main dish. After cooking, enjoy the meal you helped prepare with Autumn at her dining table (or outdoors on her patio, weather permitting) over lively conversation and wine. Your meal concludes with a homemade dessert.
