Jeep Tour - Sete Cidades/Lagoa do Fogo(Full day)

The tour is made comfortably in a jeep Land Rover properly equipped for the purpose and is perfect for those who want to have a off-road experience in São Miguel Island.
This jeep tour will start in the southeastern part of the island, in the volcanic complex of Sete Cidades, visiting Lagoa das Empadadas, Cumeeira Grande; Muro das Nove das Janelas; Sete Cidades village and Vista do Rei viewpoint. After lunch, served in a local restaurant, we´ll drive towards the Fogo complex and visit Pico da Barrosa, Lagoa do Fogo viewpoint, Caldeira Velha thermal baths, Salto do Cabrito and Ribeira Grande city.

At this first stop you will be enchanted by the junction of small lakes surrounded by a stunning forest.

Duration: 25 minutes

Stop At: Igreja de Sao Nicolau, En9-1a, Sete Cidades, Sao Miguel 9555-043 Portugal

In this stop you will get to know the parish of the Sete Cidades and the church of São Nicolau.

Duration: 1 hour

Stop At: Lagoa Verde / Lagoa das Sete Cidades, En 9-1, Sete Cidades, Sao Miguel 9555-000 Portugal

This stop will be in the peninsula that is located in the lake of the Sete Cidades.

Duration: 25 minutes

Stop At: Vista do Rei Miradouro, Sete Cidades, Sao Miguel 9555-000 Portugal

This is the stop that everyone is waiting for. The wonderful viewpoint of Vista do Rei, which gives you a magnificent view over the large and amazing lake of the Sete Cidades.

Duration: 30 minutes

Stop At: Lagoa do Fogo, Miradouro da Serra Barrosa Agua de Pau, Sao Miguel Portugal

In this stop let yourself be invade by the stunning landscape on the Lagoa do Fogo.

Duration: 25 minutes

Stop At: Caldeira Velha Environmental Interpretation Centre, Estrada Regional da Lagoa do Fogo, Ribeira Grande, Sao Miguel 9600-501 Portugal

At this stop you will visit the Caldeira Velha Interpretation Center where you will find thermal pools.

The baths are not included.

Duration: 45 minutes

Stop At: Salto do Cabrito, Ribeira Grande, Sao Miguel Portugal

At this stop you can find a magnificent cascade of clear and fresh water.

Duration: 30 minutes

Stop At: 9600 Ribeira Grande, Portugal

This will be the last stop of our tour, the city of Ribeira Grande. City that is in the north zone of the island of São Miguel.
