Direct to Ponta do Sol, avoiding the crowds at Ribeira Brava, for the morning coffee stop and south coast views.

Old roads only the Land Rover can deal with, ascending through the rural areas of Ponta do Sol.

45 minute off-road track to Paul da Serra, the largest Plateau of the island, 1494m above sea level!

Descending towards the North side of the island to Ribeira da Janela with large landscape views of the protected UNESCO forest

Next, we will have lunch at one of our partner restaurants.

After a walk around the village of Porto Moniz, we head South through the village of Seixal (rock pools, swimming)

Through Sao Vicente and Serra de Agua (poncha)

And finally ending at the Cabo Girao glass bottom viewpoint

First stop, we have a stroll around the pier, enjoy the sights and perhaps a coffee before moving on

The famous natural “car wash” waterfall

Stop At: Posto Florestal Fanal, Er209, Porto Moniz, Madeira Portugal

The mystic Fanal Forest, one of Madeira’s most famous areas.

Duration: 45 minutes

Stop At: Seixal Natural Pool, Praia do Porto do Seixal-Madeira, Seixal, Madeira 9270-132 Portugal

We keep discovering the North West Coast through Seixal to São Vicente

Duration: 20 minutes

Stop At: Porto Moniz Natural Swimming Pools, Rua do Lugar, Porto Moniz, Madeira 9270-156 Portugal

Here we stop for Lunch and a swim at the natural pools

Duration: 2 hours

Stop At: Cabo Girao, Camara De Lobos, Madeira Portugal

The highest sea cliff in Europe, our favourite glass floored platform!
