Half-Day Private Itaipu Dam and Biological Refuge Tour

You can’t visit Foz do Iguaçu without taking in the spectacular sight of the majestic Itaipu Dam! Accompanied by our expert local guide, the first part of the tour is taken in a walk through the protection unit, a space created to preserve the fauna and flora during the formation of the reservoir of the Plant, a refuge habitat of about 50 species of animals like jaguars, quati, alligators, king vultures and snakes, and more than 960 types of plants.

At the two kilometers trail in the middle of the native forest, the experience is magnified with learning about the environment.
