7-days Chimpanzee, Gorilla tracking & big 5 safaris Uganda will encompass three popular national parks in Uganda; Kibale National Park for Chimpanzee trekking, Queen Elizabeth National Park for the big game & wildlife viewing, and Bwindi Impenetrable National Park for the Gorilla Trekking Expedition. After these incredible and tiresome adventures, the tour winds off with a relaxation experience at Lake Bunyonyi - Africa's second deepest lake set with a cool atmosphere with fascinating scenery.

Itinerary

Day 1: Travel to Kibale National Park - bigod nature walk

Pass By: Kibale Forest National Park, Fortportal Kamwenge Rd, Fort Portal 256 Uganda
Have an early breakfast, and pick up from your hotel at 7.00 am by the driver/guide. Travel westward through Mityana - Kyenjojo and get to Fort portal. Thereafter continue for another 45 minutes and get to your accommodation for check-in and then have lunch at the Lodge. Later, you head out for the nature walk in the Bigodi Swampland. There is a lot of wildlife to enjoy including primates, a number of monkey species, and lots of birds and butterflies. Then return to the lodge for Dinner and overnight is at the lodge.

Day 2: Chimpanzee Trekking in Kibale National Park

Pass By: Kibale Forest National Park, Fortportal Kamwenge Rd, Fort Portal 256 Uganda
Have an early breakfast at 6.30 am, thereafter transfer to the park offices to convene with other travellers for briefing and thereafter start the trek into Kibale Forest to find the chimpanzees. After the exciting experience in the forest, return to meet your driver/guide and transfer to your accommodation for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park, afternoon boat ride and game drive

Pass By: Queen Elizabeth National Park, 410 kilometers from Kampala, Kasese Uganda
After early breakfast, check out and travel to Queen Elizabeth National Park. Check-in at your accommodation to refresh and have lunch. Later transfer to the Kazinga Channel for a boat ride. Enjoy an array of wildlife and birds lining the banks of the channel, including Hippos, Buffaloes, Elephants, Antelopes, Monitor Lizards and after go for a brief game drive. Return and transfer to your accommodation for dinner and overnight.

Day 4: Early morning Game Drive and Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

Pass By: Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, Buhoma Uganda
Early breakfast, check out of the accommodation and head out for the early morning game drive to catch the nocturnals and hunters. Drive to the southern sector of the park called Ishasha, popular for the Tree-climbing Lions and lots of big game including large herds of Elephants and Buffaloes, Kobs, Topis, Waterbucks, Leopards, Hyenas and wonderful scenery. The game lasts approximately 3 hours, then you check out of the park and travel to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Lunch is en-route, and dinner at your accommodation in Bwindi.

Day 5: Gorilla Tracking in Bwindi Forest and Batwa community walk

Pass By: Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, Buhoma Uganda
Have an early cup of tea/coffee, pick packed lunch and enough drinking water, and transfer to the park offices to allocate a gorilla family and be briefed by the rangers. Thereafter transfer to the start of the trek and head into the thick jungles to find these great apes. After an hour of observing and photographing the Mountain Gorillas, return to meet your driver, transfer to the accommodation to refresh, and then go for an evening visit to the Batwa community. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Day 6: Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi and canoe ride

Pass By: Bunyonyi Overland Resort, Kabale-Kachwekano, Kabale, Uganda
After breakfast, check out and drive northwards to Lake Bunyonyi. After checking in at your accommodation, refreshing and lunch, set out for a canoe ride on Lake Bunyonyi and explore the series of Islands dotting the lake while enjoying the wonderful scenery of terraces and cool atmosphere. Lunch is at the accommodation. Lake you can hike the highlands, and visit the local communities along the highlands. Return to your accommodation, Birdsnest Lodge, for dinner and overnight.

Day 7: Breakfast, check out and Travel back to Kampala

Pass By: Uganda Equator, Masaka Road, Kayabwe Uganda
After breakfast in the morning, check out and drive back to Kampala. Lunch is en-route in Mbarara. Another stop is made at the Equator point for some photo moments. Continue to Kampala and drop off at your hotel or transfer to Entebbe International Airport for your evening flight.
