Itinerary

Day 1: Kandy & arrive Nuwara Eliya

Pass By: Colombo, Colombo, Western Province
You will be picked up from your hotel in Colombo at 06:30 a.m. and commence the tour to Kandy & Nuwara Eliya.

Stop At: The Island Spice Grove, Utuwankanda, Mawanella 71500 Sri Lanka
After pick up you will be transferred to Kandy. On the way to Kandy stop at a Spice garden where you will be introduced different spices of Sri Lanka and see how the spices are grown, harvested and produced.
Duration: 1 hour

Stop At: Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic, Sri Dalada Veediya, Kandy 20000 Sri Lanka
After reached Kandy visit the temple of the sacred tooth relic (Sri Dalada Maligawa) which is one of the most sacred and important place of Buddhists. You will be able to see the tooth room where the tooth relic is kept and many other places including Aluth Maligawa, Audience hall and World Buddhism museum.

Stop At: Kandy View Point, Rajapihilla Mawatha, Kandy 20000 Sri Lanka
Next visit the Kandy lake, view point, Kandy city center , Kandy Market,Gem museum ,wood carving museum and Bathik & silk factory.
Duration: 30 minutes

Stop At: Nuwara Eliya, Nuwara Eliya, Central Province
End of the Kandy city tour proceed to Nuwara Eliya and check-in Nuwara Eliya Hotel.

Day 2: Nuwara Eliya & Back to Colombo

Stop At: Hakgala Botanic Gardens, Badulla Road, Nuwara Eliya 22200 Sri Lanka
On this day first visit “Hakgala Botanical Garden” where there are many species of Orchids , Roses and floras planted. Thereafter visit “Victoria park” which was name to commemorate Queen Victoria’s Diamond Jubilee.

Stop At: Gregory Lake, Nuwara Eliya Sri Lanka
Next visit Gregory Lake situated in the heart of the city. You can enjoy a boat safari in the lake (optional - at your cost) and experience the cool weather while riding.
Duration: 1 hour

Stop At: Post Office Nuwara Eliya, Queen Elizabeth Drive, Nuwara Eliya 22200 Sri Lanka
After that proceed to old post office which was constructed in 1894 by British.
Duration: 30 minutes

Stop At: Damro Labookellie Tea Centre and Tea Garden, A5, Nuwara Eliya 22200 Sri Lanka
At the end of the Nuwara Eliya city sightseeing you will be transferred back to Colombo. On the way visit a tea factory which is situated in a beautiful greenest tea estate. In there you will be able to see how tea is grown in Sri Lanka and how to produce the tea. Further you will be able to taste a cup of Sri Lankan tea.

You will be reached Colombo and safely drop at either your Hotel in Colombo or at the Bandaranaike International Airport according to your request.
