Day 1: colombo or Negombo - Kandy

Stop At: Kandy, Kandy, Kandy District, Central Province
Kandy is an enormous city in focal Sri Lanka. It's determined to a level encompassed by mountains, which are home to tea manors and biodiverse rainforest. The city's heart is beautiful Kandy Lake (Bogambara Lake), which is famous for walking. Kandy is renowned for holy Buddhist locales, including the Temple of the Tooth (Sri Dalada Maligawa) hallowed place, celebrated with the fantastic Esala Perahera yearly parade.

Stop At: Royal Botanical Gardens, Peradeniya Road, Peradeniya 20400 Sri Lanka
The Royal Botanical Gardens in Peradeniya are Sri Lanka's oldest formal gardens. It's about 5 kilometers west of Kandy, in Sri Lanka's Central Province, at 460 meters above sea level. Peradeniya's majestic Avenue of Royal Palms is Sri Lanka's largest garden, covering 147 acres (60 hectares) and requiring plenty of time to stroll. Peradeniya Gardens has almost 4,000 distinct plant species.

Kandy Lake, also known as Kiri Muhuda or the Sea of Milk, is an artificial lake in the heart of the hill city of Kandy, Sri Lanka, built in 1807 by King Sri Wickrama Rajasinghe next to the Temple of the Tooth. Over the years, it was reduced in size. It is a protected lake, with fishing banned. There are many legends and folklore regarding the lake. One such is that the small island at its center was used by the king’s helm for bathing and was connected to the palace by secret tunnel.

Day 2: Kandy - Nuwara Eliya

Stop At: Gregory Lake, Nuwara Eliya Sri Lanka
Gregory Lake was created in 1873 by the British era Governor at the time, Sir William Gregory, supposedly for the purpose of providing electricity. However the lake was mainly used for leisure and recreation after it was built. At its peak of fame, Gregory Lake was the most prominent attraction in the area and was used a place to relax by many visitors.

The Sita Amman Temple committed to Sita, the spouse of Lord Rama, arranged in the slopes of Nuwara Eliya, is treated with suffering dedication by Hindus as it is viewed as the main such sanctuary on the planet. It is found five kilometers along the street from Nuwara Eliya to Kandy. History has it this is where King Ravana held Sits imprisoned.What is intriguing about the sanctuary is the nearness of impressions by the waterway, which is understood as being similar to Hanuman's.

Shri Bhakta Hanuman Temple is built by Chinmaya Mission of Sri Lanka. Located in Ramboda on Kandy-Nuwara Eliya Road located approximately 30 odd kilometers North of Nuwara Eliya on A-5 route facing the Kotmale Reservoir. The Chinmaya Mission is a Hindu spiritual organization engaged in the dissemination of Vedanta, the science of the self as expounded in the Vedas, particularly the Upanishads, and other important Hindu scriptures including the Bhagavad Gita.

Located along the Talawakele–Hatton road in the Nuwara Eliya district it is a vision of striking green and foaming water down the falls. A captivating sight, it is highly recommended for nature lovers and bird lovers to pay a visit to this amazing natural preserve.  There are two observation points on the A7 highway from which the views of this water fall can be enjoyed. The lower observation point is even more special because, both Devon and St.Clair waterfalls can be can be seen cascading down the scenic mountains.

Day 3: Nuwara eliya - Ella

Stop At: Nine Arches Bridge, Ella Sri Lanka
The Nine Arch Bridge in Ella is on the Demodara circle and ranges 91 meters at a stature of 24m. The beautiful nine curves make it an exceptionally pleasant spot particularly as it is situated in a thick wilderness and farming setting. Behind the railroad, a timberland is blasting and beneath, tea leaves are being developed.

Stop At: Ravana's Cave, Wellawaya road Nature Exploration and conservation Society ,#37/2,kekunahena,opatha,Galle, Ella 90090 Sri Lanka
The Ravana Cave is located about 2 km from the Ella town and 11 km (7 mi) away from Bandarawela. It is quite a small cave, measuring about 50ft wide, 150ft long and 60ft high. History says that the cave is used by King Rawana to hide the Princess Sita.

Day 4: Ella - Colombo

Independence Square is a popular stopping place on a city tour so visitors can walk around the structure or relax in the shade of the avenue of mango trees. Close to the Square is the Arcade, a modern shopping mall housed in former colonial government buildings brightened with a fountain, covered ponds, and more statues of lions. Independence Square is in the prestigious Cinnamon Gardens district of Colombo where spacious tree-lined boulevards remain from colonial days and takes its name from the Independence Memorial Hall built there to commemorate the independence of Sri Lanka from British rule in 1948.

The railway line was started over a 150 years ago by the British. At the time, the Central Terminus was in a place near Maradana, The location can still be seen as it is now serving as the Sri Lanka Railway Museum. In 1877 the Coastal Railway Line was created, and that is when the first Fort Station came into use. The old Fort region of Colombo is one of the busiest sections of the city. It’s the trade quarter where all the goods that come in from the various countries are stocked and sold by wholesale tradesmen. It’s also where some important government departments such as the Sri Lanka Customs Headquarters, the Sri Lanka Ports Authority and the Merchant Shipping Department.

The Bandaranaike Memorial International Conference Hall is one of the foremost convention centers found on the island. Located in the Cinnamon Gardens region of Colombo, Bmich has over 16,000 square feet of floor space.Open to the public in the year 1998, this convention center is a gift from the people’s republic of China in memory of Sri Lanka’s late prime minister Solomon Ridgeway Dias Bandaranaike. The construction of this convention center was carried out as a joint project between Sri Lankan and Chinese workforce. Bmich is managed by the Bandaranaike National Memorial Foundation (BNMF).
