Shore Excursion: Roatan Monkey and Sloth Park and Snorkel

This excursion is for everyone who is an adventurous lover. Meet your expert guide outside your Roatan cruise terminal where you will board air-conditioned transportation for nice scenery and educational city tour and stop at the monkey, sloth sanctuary for you to get close up and photograph the monkeys and three toes sloths. Next, you will have a short walk to the dock where you will get ready to explore the crystal-clear waters of the Caribbean as your board our snorkel boat to head out to one of the closest reefs on the north side on the West End underwater aquarium, blue channel and the drop off wall. Your guide will provide instructions for the first timers and give your snorkel gear they will show you how to use it and then assist anyone who needs it. Once in the water your guide will point out abundant marine life the reef has to offer great variety of tropical fish.

Stop At: Roatan, Roatan, Bay Islands

Head over to the monkeys & sloths sanctuary park for you to photograph, and for you to get up close with the animals, before boarding your boat to start your underwater adventure.

You will be thrill by all the different colorful fishes, coral, and everything else you get to see around the reef while snorkeling through some the island blue channels and colorful reef and drop off walls.

Instruction meeting point after getting off your ship: There are two ship docks in Roatan. They are Mahogany Bay cruise port where Carnival Cruises, Princess Cruises, Holland America Cruises, Costa Cruises, and other ships dock. Then there are the Town Center Port of Roatan where Royal Caribbean cruises, celebrity Cruises, Norwegian Cruises, TUI Cruises, and another ship dock.

If your ship is docked at the Mahogany Bay Cruise port once, you walk off your ship walk up through the shopping area pass the water fountains up to the red-top building on the right. It is the white taxis terminal it is a walking corridor at the end of the hall make a left on the pavement and walk up and over the hill through the big green gate. On the other side down the hill, a representative will be there expecting you 1 to 2 hours after your ship arrival with a warm welcome and a smile on our faces ready to make your day a memorable one, look for the Roatan Anderson Tours sign. If in a wheelchair or a scooter, you can get a taxi to bring you over the hill for an additional charge (Please see the price under the What's Excluded section of the Product). NOTE: There will be local independent drivers and guides trying to sell you a tour just tell them you have booked with us and they will leave you alone. After your excursion is full of excitement, adrenaline, and fun, we personally drive you back over the hill inside the gate.

If your ship is docked at the Town Center Port of Roatan, down in Coxen Hole once you walk off your ship it is much easier for you to find us. Just walk straight out past all the shops then make a right. You will see a lot of tour kiosks continuing through the terminal making a small left straight out to the main street once exiting gate #1 look across the street for the Roatan Anderson Tours sign a representative will be there waiting for you for 1 to 2 hours after ships arrival. If you make friends on board or have any family members who are not booked with us but want to tag along that is not a problem, we will accommodate them with you.
