The Cibeles fountain in Mexico City is a replica of the Cibeles fountain that is located in the Plaza de Cibeles in Madrid, Spain. It was located as a symbol of brotherhood between the Spanish and Mexican communities in 1980 and was remodeled in 2011 as part of a maintenance and remodeling program of the capital government.
