Meet your friendly local guide in the Queenstown town centre and then travel out and enjoy exploring the Gibbston wine region and Queenstown, visiting cellar doors offering unique collections of both local wines and craft beers.

Throughout the afternoon, enjoy three unique tasting experiences at a mix of both wineries and breweries, finishing off with platters. Prefer a Pale Ale over a Pinot Noir? As we move around you are welcome to choose between either wine or beer tastings, switching it up between locations.

Departing in the afternoon, this tour allows you to make the most of your time in Queenstown. Whether you've just arrived that day or spent the morning exploring, this tour easily fits into your afternoon while still getting you back to Queenstown early enough to enjoy your evening.

Stop At: GT Tasting Room, 8 Coal Pit Road, Gibbston 9371, New Zealand

The first stop on tour is the GT Tasting Room, located at the historic Gibbston Tavern. Guest’s have the opportunity to select a wine or local craft beer tasting. The wine is grown and produced in the Gibbston region and the beer is from a local brewery just 1km down the road. Learn about the unique Gibbston region for producing world class wines and savour the flavours of what the locals beer drinkers consume.

Stop At: Kinross Winery & Cellar Door, 2300 Gibbston Highway, Queenstown 9371, New Zealand

Next is a short drive further into the Gibbston region at Kinross Cellar Door. Here is a hosted wine tasting with Kinross and their 4 boutique wine partners. Try a drop from each 5 producers including some of the most awarded Pinot Noirs in the world. If you prefer beers then sample 4 beers from Queenstown local Altitude Brewery, which continuously win best small batch brewery in NZ and also support Kea conservations with their Mischievous Kea IPA. Here you will have self guided tasting notes to help decipher the flavours of the beers.

Lastly we have 25 minutes towards Queenstown to Canyon Brewing in Arthurs Point. This is time to sit down, relax, and socialise with the group with tasting flights of both locally produced, highly classed boutique wines or the crafted beers produced at Canyon Brewery. Learn about the flavours you're experiencing from the staff while digging into a shared grazing platter with meats and cheeses to satisfy your stomach until you're returned safely to Queenstown just in time for your dinner.
