Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival at Salta

Pass By: Salta, Salta, Province of Salta, Northern Argentina
According to your flight schedule a private driver will be waiting for you after your arrival, holding a sign with your name, and we will take you safely to your hotel in downtown Salta.

You will have the rest of the day free to enjoy as you please.

Day 2: Cafayate Vineyards & Calchaquies Valleys Day Tour

Stop At: Quebrada Las Conchas, La Viña, Salta, Argentina
After having breakfast at your hotel, you will be picked up by your private guide to start the tour from the city of Salta to the south, through Route 68 that crosses the Lerma Valley and its historic towns. You reach the Quebrada de las Conchas, where wind and water erosion carved curious shapes in the rocks (El Anfiteatro, La Garganta del Diablo, El Sapo, Los Castillos).
Duration: 3 hours

Stop At: Cafayate, Cafayate, Province of Salta, Northern Argentina
Upon arrival into Cafayate, a picturesque village famous for its vineyards.

Visit a winery with wine tasting, the tour and tasting are guided by a sommelier who explains the particularities of the wine, the vineyard and the winery as well.

Time for lunch in Cafayate, enjoy around the city and markets.

Then we come back to Salta, the tour ends with the drop off at your hotel.

Day 3: Quebrada de Humahuaca & Iruya

Stop At: Quebrada de Humahuaca, Rio Grande Purmamarca Village, Humahuaca Argentina
You will be picked up at your hotel in the morning to go on a tour to Quebrada de Humahuaca. Declared a World Heritage Site, this area where the landscape and the colours of the hills mix with the equally colourful cultures, is an ideal destination for those who want to know more about Argentina's past and heritage.
Duration: 2 hours

Stop At: The Hill of Seven Colors, Purmamarca Argentina
The tour continue with the arrival to the town of Purmamarca to observe the Cerro de los Siete Colores (Seven Colors Hill), you will have time to visit the the Church and the Artisan Market and to walk around the village.
Duration: 1 hour

Stop At: Tropico de Capricornio, Ruta 9, Huacalera, Tilcara Argentina
Continue to Huacalera, passage of the Tropic of Capricorn, from where you can see the colors of the hill called the Pollera de la Colla.
Duration: 2 hours

Stop At: Mercado Municipal de Humahuaca, Av. Belgrano, Humahuaca 4630 Argentina
Arrival in Humahuaca with its important Cathedral and the Monument to Independence (El Indio) by the sculptor Soto Avendaño.
Get time for lunch and tour the village and artisan market.
Duration: 3 hours

Stop At: Iruya, Iruya, Province of Salta, Northern Argentina
We continue our journey, passing through the town of Iturbe and Abra del Cóndor (3900 masl) arriving at the beginning of a small gorge where this small town, Iruya, of pre-Hispanic origins, is located.

We are going to spend the night here.
Duration: 10 hours

Day 4: San Salvador de Jujuy & Return to Salta

We return to our hotels in Salta in the afternoon.
