One day Kunming leisure city tour

Today’s activity will bring you to see gem of Oriental sculpture - the 500 Arhat sculptures in Bamboo Temple and a beautiful Taoism temple -Black Dragon Pool and the biggest artificial waterfall in the north of Kunming Finally stroll in the flower and bird Market. The tour is including round-trip transfer, Chinese lunch and entrance fee.

This private tour will begin with a pick up from your hotel at 9:00am, head directly to the north-western Kunming to discover the elegant Buddhist Temple - Bamboo Temple, the vivid 500 Arhat sculptures made in 1883-1890 of the temple which is should not miss.

After the lunch at local Chinese restaurant, you will move to Black Dragon Pool.In this park, the most famous site is the Black Dragon Pool, which has an area of 600 square meters. The pool is divided into two parts by a bridge, and although the water is connected, the water at two sides has different colors and it is clear at one side but turbid at the other side. The fish in either side never swim to the opposite part of the pool. How strange! Moreover, for hundreds of years, this wondrous pool has never dried up, even in drought years.

Further the trip to entry a local residence community to see the largest artificial waterfall which taking 3 years to complete and fully using the water resources of the Niulanjiang River. The waterfall inside is 400 metes wide with a drop difference of nearly 13 meters so is quite a sight. 

Finally take a leisure stroll in the flower and bird market in downtown to meet the local life of Kunming people.

Afterward, drive back to Kunming city , drop off at your hotel around 17:00.
