Stop At: Office of Tourism and Congress of Metropolis of Lyon, Place Bellecour, 69002 Lyon France

Our guide English Speaking guide will meet you in front of Lyon Office de Tourisme located on Bellecour Square for departure. After a short walk, participants will get on the 8 seaters minivan to begin the excursion

Duration: 10 minutes

Stop At: Châtillon - d'Azergues, 69380 Châtillon, France

After a transfer about 35 minutes, travel through beautiful rolling hills dotted with secular vineyards and cross several quaint medieval towns built in a gorgeous golden ochre stone.
Stop to admire the old castle from the 13th century with its all rampart walls and discover the origins of this unique yellow stones.

Stop At: Bagnols, Bagnols, Rhone, Auvergne-Rhone-Alpes

Stop in Bagnols town to enjoy a panoramic view over the Beaujolais Southern region also called the small French Toscany.

Stop At: Oingt, Oingt, Rhone, Auvergne-Rhone-Alpes

Visit Oingt lovely town listed as one of the “157 Most Beautiful Villages in France” and stroll through a warren of little streets hosting many artists and craftsmen boutiques. With your guide, learn about the history of the village, terroir, and geography.

At the end of the visit to Oingt Village, discover a first winery where you will get to be introduced to the unknown sparkling white and rosé Beaujolais wines.

Duration: 30 minutes

Stop At: Moire, Moire, Rhone, Auvergne-Rhone-Alpes

After a short drive, push the door of a second winery, meet a passionate wine-maker and immerse yourself in French history and tradition.

Learn about grape growing and the unique Beaujolais wine-making process called "semi-carbonic maceration" when grapes are all picked by hand and not crushed at all.

Finally, go to the caveau (wine-tasting room) and taste several red Beaujolais in a great authentic atmosphere.
