The animal welfare is one of our top priorities, as everyday of being on the oceans it is not a question of the boat, it is actually the crew and their behaviour towards these magnificent creatures, that is what really matters. The Bahriyeli also have Captains have the full extended licences to be able to go further than 3 miles from the harbour, which is extremely useful when the larger whales come past on their migration, or other species of dolphins, turtles and even sharks. Normally our Short finned Pilot whales is what is seen almost every single day, or our resident bottled nose dolphins. We cannot promise what you will see, but what we can promise and fully guarantee, whatever we see our Captain will not chase, harass or bother them, by respecting them you get so much back, and when a whale or dolphin of its own accord comes to the boat, its an amazing feeling and experience that you will never forget. Every tour, the wildlife is given the utmost respect in that we do not chase them to get them close, quite frankly because we do not need to. Working with these magnificent animals for many years, a relationship of trust has been built. Being fully aware of the conservation issues of all marine life, and ocean issues, a collaboration with Sea Shepherd UK was formed where donations to them from ticket sales are made regularly (the only company in Spain to do this, as it is our belief you cannot keep taking from the ocean without giving back).
