On this 3-hour tour you will learn about the Nazis' beginnings in the Bavarian capital.

You’ll see former Nazi buildings, hear about the German resistance movement, and see memorials to the Nazi’s victims.

Stop At: Fuhrer Building, Arcisstr. 12, 80333 Munich, Bavaria Germany

See the Führerbau (leader’s building), built for Hitler on Königsplatz. Learn about the building's historical significance and and past.

Then, head over to see the see the former Gestapo (secret police) headquarters.

Duration: 45 minutes

Stop At: Platz der Opfer des Nationalsozialismus, Brienner Str. 14, 80333 Munich, Bavaria Germany

Your guide will explain to you the ‘Vergangenheitsbewältigung’ (struggle to overcome the past) concept, while taking you to see the memorials to the German resistance movements and the Square of the Victims of National Socialism.

See the remains of the Ehrentempel (Honor Temples) built by Nazis in 1935 and learn about their significance.

See the Nazis first monumental structure Haus der Kunst (House of Art), built from 1933 to 1937.

You will also hear about the buildings that no longer remain, as Munich suffered near complete destruction in World War II.
