Full-Day Essaouira Excursion from Agadir

   Essaouira, the beautiful drawing, nicknamed the pearl of the Atlantic, known from the 14th century under the name of Mogador. Located 170 km north of Agadir surrounded by ramparts, it is called the city of the winds. Its white Medina with blue doors and windows is classified as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. ''There is only one tower where i know i'd like and be locked up forever, even to die there rather than return the keys- MOGADOR IN AFRICA-'' Paul claudel.

Essaouira continue to inspire many artists and international film makers, and the city is often used as a film location. Orson Welles'othello was the first foreign feature film shot in Essaouira in 1952.

Essaouira, we visit the port considered in the XVIII century the international leader port, linking Morocco with its Saharan hinterland to Europe, and of course to the rest of the world. Visit of the Medina, built accordingly to the principles of the European military architecture of that time: La Scala and its old canons directed to the Atlantic, the old Jewish quarter "El Mellah", in the end the main square surrounded by many cafies and shops
