Private Guided Hike and Scenic Drive near Fort Collins

Our unique hiking tour allows you the opportunity to escape your comfort zone while having the comfort of an experienced outdoorsman, and local, guiding you. Our hikes are completely customizable, and allow for the perfect hiking trails according to your experience. These hikes range from beginner, to advanced; so they're perfect for families and adrenaline seekers alike. Northern Colorado has lesser visited wilderness areas, which gives our hikes a unique opportunity to see more nature, and less people! See wildflowers, the color change of the Aspen trees, snow capped mountains, wildlife, and more!

Our guide, Joe, is certified with Wilderness First Responder Training, First Aid Training, and a Decade of hiking, climbing and backpacking experience.

Itinerary

Your trip starts out in Fort Collins where your guide will pick you up at the designated location. As you make your way to the trailhead, your guide will tell you about the history, fun facts, geology, and ecology within the surrounding area! You will then hike, and have a packed lunch along the trail of your choice (Options Below). Afterwards, we will drive through historic Masonville on our way to one of Colorado's Scenic Byways, and into the famous Cache la Poudre River Canyon. Your guide will stop at various locations for pictures! As you get back into Fort Collins, you will go through historic downtown, and learn about its history. You will then be dropped off where you were picked up!

Hike Option #1 (Beginner/Easy);
Great for any first time mountain hikers, elderly, or Kids!

-4 Mi. Loop, with 416ft. elevation gain.

Hike Option #2 (Moderate/Hard);
-Horsetooth Falls loop
-3.6 Mi. Loop, with 967ft. elevation gain.

Hike Option #3 (Advanced)
-Horsetooth Mountain Loop
-5.5 Mi. Loop, with 1,307ft. elevation Gain
