This activity allows you to do a lot and see a lot in a short amount of time. If you are in a time crunch or on your to Tofino and don't know where to stop this is for you. Joining us for this day will take you to a breathtaking waterfall first thing in the morning and leading on to a beautiful walk along a river tucked in a pocket of old growth forest to give you a taste of what is to come and tell you all about our amazing rainforest ecosystem. Then you will visit the breathtaking Cathedral Grove with giant towering trees with a self lead audio tour before heading out to Horne Lake for some underground exploration of a unique cave system, millions of years old.

Stop At: Top Bridge Park, Industrial Way, Parksville, British Columbia Canada

Top Bridge is a beautiful park alongside the Englishman River, where we will hold our interpretive nature walk. There you will learn about the ecosystem and everything that lives in it from the plants to the animals. Enjoy a refreshing spot to dip your toes and marvel at the big tree before hitting the old growth.

Stop At: Cathedral Grove, BC-4, Alberni Hwy MacMillan Provincial Park, Port Alberni, British Columbia Canada

Get lost in nature, headphones on, and wander through the path following the interactive map provided with the audio tour. Stop for as long as you want at as many stops as you want while listening to over 20 facts recited to you as you go, at your own pace. Cathedral Grove is an amazing stand of Old Growth Douglas-fir with lots of history and a wild display of rainforest biodiversity.

Explore underground caves at Horne Lake Provincial Park. Let the guides take you through narrow passages and show the wonders hiding under the forest.

Join us for a morning hike and skip the crowds to one of Vancouver Island's most spectacular waterfall!
