Vatican Tour, Museums, Sistine Chapel and St. Peter's Basilica
We will meet right in front of a Burger King, which is located on Via Leone Street IV number 26. If you wish for a few euros more we can go to your hotel.
With the group gathered (limited places) we will go to the Vatican Museums, which are one of the most important collections of art in the world, here we can see some of the masterpieces of universal art both sculpture, as tapestries and frescoes inside of an architecture that in itself is a jewel. The spiral staircase of the architect Momo, the Patio de la Pigna in the Belvedere del Bramante, the Pio Clementino museum of ancient sculpture, the Candelabra Galleries, the Maps and the tapestries are some of the wonders that we will contemplate.
Then we will go to the Sistine Chapel, for its symbolic and artistic importance is the center of the visit. We can see the frescoes of Michelangelo and great painters of the Italian Renaissance: Perugino, Botticelli, Pinturicchio, Signorelli ... A magnificent chest full of history and beauty that awaits us.
To finish, without having to wait in lines or wait, we will go directly to the Basilica of San Pedro. A building built on the tomb of San Pedro with the intention of housing the orb, raise it with its dome and bring it closer to a millenarian history that has enriched it with works of art from the fourth century until today. The Basilica of St. Peter, throughout its complex history, is the main symbol of Christianity in Rome.
