Pass By: Canal - Tierra del Fuego, Pres. Julio Argentino Roca 136, V9410 Ushuaia, Tierra del Fuego, Argentina

Your guide will meet you at your hotel in Ushuaia, or at our office (at Roca 136) at the time you prefer for a full-day service averaging seven hours. Please let us know your schedule in advance: we recommend to make available at least 7 hours of your time for a relaxed hike along "Senda Costera", canoeing along rivers and lagoons, and an excellent, relaxed lunch in a quiet and panoramic area in the National Park (appetizers, a hot chicken dish, dessert, red wine and water included. Vegetarian and vegan options available if requested in advance).
If you opt for a series of shorter, easier hikes, and an excellent boxed lunch to have on the go, this program can be shortened to 6 hours, or slightly less.

Stop At: Tierra del Fuego National Park, Tierra del Fuego National Park, Province of Tierra del Fuego, Patagonia

At a short distance from Ushuaia, this is not just a relevant place to visit in Tierra del Fuego, but one where this tour ensures you will make the most out of your time at this end of the world. After a fourty-minute-long transfer from the city, we will need to stop to pay for the entrance fee (not included in our price). You might be able to pay with a credit card, but please bring cash just in case.
Once inside the Park, we have the full day to enjoy! During this most encompassing tour, that includes lunch and drinks in a calm and panoramic place, we will go hiking and canoeing: a very relaxing experience that enables you to enjoy areas otherwise impossible to reach by foot or by car.

Duration: 6 hours

Stop At: Bahia Ensenada Zaratiegui, Beagle Channel, Tierra del Fuego National Park Argentina

This is the location of the world's most southern post office, and the starting point of the “Senda Costera” trail, one of the main attractions for keen hikers and Nature lovers. Here, your guide will not miss the opportunity to be very informative about the plants, birds, other animals, history and geography.

Duration: 40 minutes

Stop At: Senda Costera, Parque Nacional Tierra del Fuego, Tierra del Fuego National Park V9410BGA Argentina

Three and a half hours is the average time to cover the 7.5km of this very panoramic and relevant trail that leads us into the forest that grows along the rocky coastline of Ensenada and Lapataia bays. Halfway through, this trail goes up and down a fair amount, and at the ending point there is a somewhat steep slope that might account for the medium difficulty classification of this otherwise easy hike. The uneven, irregular, terrain with shallow roots, sometimes is also muddy, so hiking boots or shoes are most recommended for secure footing.
If you choose to go for a series of shorter, easier hikes, we recommend a pleasant 30 to 40 minute walk (return) here, as the first part of this trail is quite easy, it offers very beautiful views, and its coast and forest is very representative of the natural history of this uttermost part of the Earth.

Duration: 4 hours

Stop At: Lago Roca, Tierra del Fuego National Park Argentina

Lake Acigami was known as Lake Roca for a brief period of time. It is one of the highlights for all visitors to the National Park. It also is the starting point of an exclusive activity of this tour: canoeing easily and safely in search for beautiful views hidden in an otherwise inaccessible area. Although this ancient experience is now reserved for the very few, it is enjoyable to anyone: it does not require a particular fitness level nor skills.
Your experienced guides will take care of you all along, and also outfit you with rubber boots, splash pants, and a life jacket. The canoeing brings you out of the trials, and the visitors, and gives you incredible beauty on the water, in a very deep silence.
Should anyone prefer to skip the activity, we will offer an alternative, and to rejoin the rest of the group later, at Lapataia Bay.

Duration: 50 minutes

Stop At: Bahia Lapataia, Ushuaia Argentina

This is a place where not many arrive on foot; on the contrary, the bulk of tourists arrive to this panoramic lookout over the Beagle Channel by bus.
Distinctively, this tour enables you to arrive here from the opposite direction: from the sea! After having started from the mouth of lake Acigami, and having followed the slow, quiet flow of Lapataia river, curving back and forth gently in its way towards the sea in our inflatable rafts, we have had left behind the hum of the many tour buses in the Park.
Now at the sea, we set our course northbound. The Park, the surrounding mountains, and Lapataia Bay as seen from within, ensures that, later on, you will be able to say that you made that what it is actually the end of the Pan-American Highway to be the starting point of your journey back home. After shooting pictures of the recently explored sea, and of the sign announcing the end of the Pan-American Highway, the transfer back to the city takes slightly over one hour.
