Athabasca Glacier Half-Day Tour
Join us for a unique exploration of the Athabasca Glacier on this 4 hour hike across rock, snow and ice. Meet your guide at The toe of the glacier parking lot, get geared up, and head out on a fully organic, by foot mission to discover some of the hidden wonders of this powerful place. Surrounded by some of the tallest peaks of the range, your guide will walk you through the history of these headwaters, while ensuring your safety and comfort. We look for opportunities to descend below the ice surface using ropes and climbing equipment for those who are interested. Group size is small to ensure exploration of the area is environmentally conscious and current health protocols are respected.Itinerary

You will meet your guide at the Toe of the Athabasca Glacier Trailhead parking lot. Upon arrival you will be outfitted into boots and crampons. You will be gearing up and stepping onto the glacier for a 4--hour walk. While on the glacier, you will be travelling through snow, ice and navigate crevasses with an experienced ACMG certified guide. This area is rated by National Geographic as one of the most scenic places in the world. A must do! All equipment is provided, this tour does not include lunch or transportation.
