9/10
Great guide! We saw the Mona Lisa nearly by ourselves... we saw so much of the Louvre and it was t crowded at all
Great fun! Excellent. My only regret is that we did not have any small change to tip Manny. His knowledge and insight was excellent. The tour was a delight. Something was going on at the beginning and it took the tour people too long to figure it out. Although it seemed a little disorganized at first, once we got into the Louvre Manny made many acute observations and asked us to consider why a certain painting is famous - often a more complex answer that must take into consideration the artist, the art, the times and what else is happening geo-politically. I think the tour inside the Louvre should be 2 hours. 1 1/2 hours including the time we spent while the tour people organized us went far too quickly. The wine tasting was a nice way to end the tour, but it meant that we could not spend a bit more time in the Louvre.
We thoroughly enjoyed our tour of the Louvre , especially the wine tasting after.
This is a very good introductory tour to the Louvre, at a time of the day when the crowds thin out a little, allowing you to get closer aquatinted with the art. The wine tasting that followed was also excellent!
good guide and a lot of fun on a summer night. The wine tasting is a couple of blocks from the Louvre. Well worth it and fun!!!
Everything about this tour was well done. Shipping the line is the best way in. Our guide Nev was working on. PhD in art history and was very knowledgeable. More that that she was passionate about us having the experience of a lifetime. Of course, there is only time to see the highlights, but well worth it. Almost as amazing as the Louvre was the wine tour afterwards. The most knowledgeable host in a cool underground catacomb. I do highly recommend this tour.
Highly recommend a tour if this is your first time to the Louvre! Great tour guide!! He was very kniwledgebale and courteous. Invited us all to ask questions throughout the tour.
Violet was amazing. We loved the tour. Next time we'll take the 3 hour tour.
Excellent tour and food/ wine. The guide was very knowledgable and friendly.
While I enjoyed the Louvre, the wine cellar and tasting was the high point on this one. Definitely a must do!
This was a nice way to see the most famous artworks at the Louvre without having to hunt around on your own. The guide was terrific, with a great sense of humor and very knowledgable. The wine tasting is actually a ten minute walk from the Louvre, but was very professional. Great wine and food!
Amazing evening tour with very few people to deal with inside the museum. Saw all major attractions and then walked around the corner to a cava wine bar....enjoyed some appetizers and a few wines from sancerre....a fabulous night!
Fabulous, there will never be enough time in the Louvre but we saw the stuff we needed to see and our guide was lovely and helpful. We only had a small group of 3 of us so it was very intimate and personal. The wine tasting was fantastic, what a lovely evening learning about wine! Best tour.
We were looking for highlights. The Louvre is SOOOO BIG! Our guide was very knowledgeable and interesting. Unfortunately, we had a long day and were exhausted so we skipped the wine tasting.
Adam was the best tour guide that we have ever had. His enthusiastic and informed commentary really made the Louvre and enjoyable tour.
Sylvie, our tour guide was AMAZING! Great tour! love the wine tasting and customize your own wine bottle add on!!
Book this tour! Our guide was Adam and he was outstanding. He clearly has a passion for the art and communicates this passion in a clear, concise, and interesting presentation. The tour is easy to find and the pace is perfect for the average art admirer wanting to take pictures. The wine tasting was also informative and excellent. I would rate either activity on its own very highly. Together, they are an outstanding tour.
Wonderful tour!!!
This was an outstanding tour. Guide was extremely knowledgeable, and the Wine Tasting experience afterwards was not only impressive but also off the charts as an experience. Would highly recommend anyone to select this experience.
This tour was well organized and the perfect amount of time in the Louvre for my wife and I, who are not art lovers, but wanted to see what the Louvre had to offer. The time of day for the tour was perfect since the crowds were dying down, and the knowledge of our guide was amazing, since you knew quite a bit of history behind many of the works and the Louvre itself. The wine tasting was also amazing and educating regarding the regions and wines of France. Overall, an amazing tour that was well worth it!
Loved it!
We were only in Paris for three days two of which the Louvre was closed. This was perfect for us...and as an added bonus...the post-Louvre wine tasting was in an awesome location!
Would do it again!
This was the perfect tour. My husband and I are not art experts, and while we wanted to get a taste of the Louvre and its works, the idea of going on one of the longer 6-hour tours was not appealing. This was the perfect compromise. 2 hours, hitting the major works of art. Our guide was friendly, funny, and knew her stuff. The wine-tasting was a perfect end in this beautiful cellar. Highly recommended!
Louvre guide was wonderful and the wine and cheese tasting totally fun!
the Tour was great and the wine tasting was a very enjoyable end to a nice evening. Our tour guide Ruta was very informative and extremely knowledgable.
