Pisa is not just the Leaning Tower, it is much more!

The walking tour begins in Vittorio Emanuele II square, and it ends up in Piazza dei Miracoli.

We will start our tour with some modern art, with the murales by the pop artist Keith Haring, then we will cross the river on the most famous bridge Ponte di Mezzo and we will explore the old streets of Borgo Stretto. Then we'll discover the heart of Pisa: Piazza delle Vettovaglie.

Later we will visit Piazza dei Cavalieri, with a focus on the Medici family, and then we'll continue to Piazza dei Miracoli.

During our walk, we will also talk about the typical food of Pisa, and I will give you some tips about my favourite places :)

The famous mural called 'Tuttomondo' by Keith Haring, a legendary pop artist from the '80s.

We will talk about the influence of the powerful Medici family in Pisa.

We will talk about the middleage renactment that takes place on top of this bridge, every year.

We will discover the hearth of Pisa, the most famous and local square of the city center. I will also give you some tips about places where to eat.

We will talk about the most famous scientist who ever lived in Pisa, Galileo Galilei.

In this square we will have a focus on the story of the Medici Family, and we will talk about the famous University of Pisa: La Normale.

We will visit from outside the middleage church of San Sisto, with a focus on the most important Saints in Pisa.

At the end of the walking tour you will be at the world-famous UNESCO protected monumental complex of the Cathedral of Pisa and Leaning Tower, known as the Square of Miracles. We will explore the monuments from outside, and we will finish in front of the Leaning Tower at 12.30.
