Full Day Jeep Beach Adventure Two Island Tour, St. Thomas and Water Island

Up to 8 guests can join a local Virgin Islander, as they take you on your very own off-road adventure and 2 Island w/beach experience.

Bushman: Our guides know all about the fauna and flora, and what bush you need to drink to keep healthy. Don't be surprised when they pull up to a bush, break off a branch and have you smell, taste or feel the island bush/fruit.

City Streets: Growing up on the island and playing on the side streets as a youth has afforded our guides with the knowledge of the complex, winding streets of Charlotte Amalie. Where others dare not venture, we go!

Island Topography/Beaches: from the twists and turns, to the highest points on the island, to the amazing beaches, and roads that look like donkey paths, you will see it all.

Local folklore/Customs: from the story of Cow Foot Lady to learning about the greeting of the day, you'll get in the island spirit with your local guide as you learn the culture and the island idioms. Maybe you'll even master the accent!

Itinerary

Stop At: Charlotte Amalie, Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands

Travelers will get the full island experience of St. Thomas in the historical district of Charlotte Amalie. Originally known as Taphus or "Beer Hour," the city expanded outward from Fort Christian. Guests will have the opportunity to see Blackbeards Castle, Bluebeards Castle, the famous 99 Steps, Emancipation Garden, and some other great historic sites. Shopping is an optional choice for those who wish to explore.

Duration: 1 hour 30 minutes

Stop At: Mountain Top, 00801 St. Thomas

Guests will go off-roading as they trek to the top of Crown Mountain, St. Thomas' highest point at 1555 feet high over the Caribbean Sea. Photo ops and a stop at the famous Mountain Top are just part of the fun. How about their famous banana daiquiri- Then hop back in for a trip to the West End of the island, seeing tropical fruit trees and vistas along the way.

Stop At: Drake's Seat, Route 37, 00802 St. Thomas

This is a must see stop, the famous "Drake's Seat". When Sir Francis Drake circumnavigated the globe in the 1500's, it's said he stopped in St. Thomas and climbed to the top of the hill and stood looking over Magens Bay. You too will get that same opportunity so look out over Magens Bay and enjoy the beauty.

Stop At: Magens Bay, 00802 St. Thomas

Magens Bay has been ranked one of the top 10 beaches in the world. With almost a 1 mile white sandy beach, there is plenty of room to find your piece of paradise and enjoy all that Magens Bay has to offer. Stop in at their concession stand, beach shop, rent a kayak or just soak it all in. There is a small admission fee per guest to enter.

Stop At: Water Island, Water Island, St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands

Part 2 of the Tour: Guest will then hop on the Water Island Passenger Ferry for a more secluded beach experience. The guide will accompany the guests to Water Island, help them hop on the open air safari bus to the beach. Guests will enjoy a more secluded beach experience, enjoying Dingy's Beach Bar, rental water sports, beach chairs and the warm Caribbean Sea. Guests have the opportunity to stay for 1 - 3 hours.
