We have 2 local skippers, born in the city and who have lived with this river their whole lives, to provide you with a 20km route on the Douro River, starting at Marina do Freixo, passing through the 6 Bridges and Ribeiras of Porto towards the mouth and back. And if the customer prefers, perhaps there is an option to end the tour in Ribeira de Gaia. Join us for a unique and memorable experience on the Douro River.

Long road bridge from the 1990s connecting Vila Nova de Gaia and the center of Porto, with views over the Douro River.
Of the bridges linking Porto to Vila Nova de Gaia, Ponte do Freixo is the one furthest upstream from the Douro river.
It is, in fact, two bridges built in a portico side by side and 10 cm apart from each other.

Pass By: Ponte de Sao Joao, Avenida de Gustavo Eiffel, Porto 4000-279 Portugal

Ponte de São João is a railway infrastructure that transports the Northern Line over the Douro River, near the city of Porto, in Portugal. Built to replace the 100-year-old Ponte D. Maria Pia, it entered service on June 24, 1991.

Named in honor of Infante D. Henrique, born in Porto, it is the most recent and, according to many, the slenderest bridge linking Porto and Gaia. It was built to replace the upper deck of the Luís I Bridge.
