Dhampus village (1650m) is situated on the north from the Pokhara valley beside gorgeous views of golden rice terraces from the farmer. Itinerary

Day 1: Drive to Phedi by car and Hike to Dhampus

Pass By: Dhampus, Dhampus, Gandaki Zone, Western Region
Drive to Phedi by car (30 minutes) and Hike to Dhampus [4 to 5 Hrs].
Ealry morning (09:00) drive to Phedi and start to Hike to Dhampus working mostly uphill through cultivated fields and local villages. This scenic Gurung Village is inhabited by a mix of people: Gurung, Brahman, Magar communities and it offers a spectacular view of the Himalayan ranges including the Anapurna and Machhapuchhare range.

Dhampus: Dhampus is quiet, serene and amazingly beautiful. It is an ideal place to return back to beautiful nature after being in a city for several months. You can see the beautiful sunset and next morning a beautiful sunrise on the Himalayas from Dhampus. Dhampus is not just a Mountain View point but a culturally rich village of the ethnic Gurung people. You will also have an opportunity for a close look at the daily lives of the villagers.
