ItineraryDay 1: Arrival in ugandaStop At: Mabamba Swamp, Uganda
You will be welcomed by a representative and be transferred to your hotel in Entebbe. If you jet in early, you’ll take a short trip through Mabamba Swamps on Lake victoria to catch a glimpse at the elegant shoebill stork and other fabulous birds in the area. You might also spend the afternoon at UWEC, home to captive animals and over 170 species of birds. This includes 7 species of weavers, such as the rare Northern Masked Weaver and Orange Weaver, etc

Day 2: Drive to Murchison falls national park via Ziwa Rhinos sanctuaryStop At: Rhino Fund Uganda, Gulu Highway Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary, Nakitoma Uganda
After breakfast, you shall start your Best of Uganda Safari by driving through Kampala to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary. There you shall have a walking Safari to the Southern White Rhinos that have been re-introduced in Uganda. In the afternoon you will drive to the legendary Murchison Falls National Park, Uganda’s biggest National Park.

Day 3: Morning game drive and afternoon boat rideStop At: Murchison Falls National Park, Murchison Falls National Park, Western Region
After an early breakfast, proceed for a game drive inside Murchison falls National park. This is a beautiful drive across the savannah, Borassus Palm Forest and grasslands down to Lake Albert where the Albert Nile heads north. Drive-in search for Lions, Leopard, Hyena, Buffalo, Elephant, Jackson Hartebeest. Oribi, Waterbucks, Uganda Kobs and enjoy spotting various Bird species. In the afternoon, go for a boat ride on the Nile, to Murchison falls, whence the park derives its name. Enjoy these spectacular falls by hiking to the top of the falls where the Nile squeezes through a 7-meter gap.

Day 4: Drive to Fort Portal town/ Kibale National ParkStop At: Kibale National Park, Kibale National Park, Western Region
After breakfast, you will embark on a long drive to Fort Portal. Along the way, you will pass many tea plantations. You have the opportunity to stop there for photo moments. In the evening you will arrive at your accommodation and take a deserved rest.

Day 5: Chimpanzee Tracking and Bigodi Swamp VisitStop At: Kibale National Park, Kibale National Park, Western Region
Today you will track the most famous inhabitants of Kibale National Park: the chimpanzees. With over 1,450 individuals protected within the park, Kibale forest is home to the largest number of endangered chimpanzees in Uganda as well as the threatened red colobus monkey and the rare L’Hoest’s monkey. The forest has one of the highest diversity and density of primates in Africa totalling 13 species including the black and white colobus, blue monkeys and grey-cheeked mangabey, red-tailed monkey, bush babies and pottos. In the afternoon after tracking, you have the opportunity for a guided walk through the swamps of Bigodi. After the fascinating walk, you have the choice of relaxing in the accommodation or community walk in a village nearby. Alternatively, you can visit a school in the local community, talk to the students and teachers and participate in the lessons.

Day 6: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National parkStop At: Queen Elizabeth National Park, Queen Elizabeth National Park, Western Region
After breakfast you will drive today to the world-famous Queen Elizabeth National Park, crossing the equator along the way. You shall have an evening game drive upon arrival at the park. Queen Elizabeth National park boasts of very high biodiversity capacities due to different habitats of fauna that it has.

Day 7: Morning Game Drive and Afternoon Boat RideStop At: Queen Elizabeth National Park, Queen Elizabeth National Park, Western Region
You will have an Early Morning Game Drive. There are over 100 mammal species that include Lions, Hippos, Buffaloes, Leopard, Spotted Hyena, Elephants and the elusive Giant Forest Hog in this park. The Primates include Chimps, Black and White Colobus Monkeys, Blue, Black faced Red Colobus, and Red-tailed monkeys and Olive Baboons. In the afternoon, you will have a boat ride on the Kazinga Channel.

Day 8: Drive back to KampalaStop At: Uganda Equator, Masaka Road, Kayabwe Uganda
After an early breakfast, you will start your journey back to Entebbe. Cross the equator and have time to take photos at the equator. You may also buy souvenirs and some fruits along the way. Later you will depart for the Airport and take your flight back home.
