Venture into the heart of Bwindi Impenetrable forest in the search of rare Mountain Gorillas in their Natural homes and explore Uganda's safaris which comes in many forms.This trip involves trekking of two unique primates in Uganda (mountain Gorillas and golden monkeys), studying their way of social life and habituation.. The Park is a home of almost half of the entire Mountain Gorillas in the world..

Itinerary

Day 1: Airport pickup and Hotel transfer

Stop At: Ngamba Island Chimpanzee Sanctuary, Plot 1 Bank Close, Entebbe Uganda
On disembarkation at Entebbe international airport, meet with Kent Safaris tour guide before driving to the already booked hotel in either Entebbe or Kampala where you’ll have your first twilight stay. Confiding on your mood, we can have a city tour in case you turn up during day or just stay relaxing as you wait for the safari road trip to start. Areas to visit are Ngamba Island which is the home of Orphanage Chimpanzee Sanctuary. If time consents our guests can also visit Entebbe Wildlife Education Center and Entebbe Botanical gardens. However, the visits can be organized either on Arrival or Departure day.

Day 2: Transfer to Mgahinga National Park

Stop At: Uganda Equator, Masaka Road, Kayabwe Uganda
After sun rise, Kent Safaris driver/guide will be prepared to brief and pick you from the hotel as the safari road trip starts driving to Mgahinga national park in the southwestern part of the country.
Some stopovers at Mpambire royal drum makers, Kayabwe Equator monuments, take snaps and refreshments
Duration: 6 hours

Stop At: Kisoro, Kisoro, Western Region
Our lunch break will be in Mbarara town. Taking a scenery drive through Kisoro we proceed with our journey.

Day 3: Mountain Gorilla trekking

Stop At: Mgahinga Gorilla National Park, Kisoro Uganda
After sunrise, we shall proceed to the park headquarters for briefing by the Uganda Wildlife Authority senior ranger guides giving information on what to do and not do before being nominated to a group to trek with.
The tour guide will intimate you in the jungle to search for the susceptible Gorillas, after tracking them, use the given one hour juncture for interaction and photography before getting back to the hotel.

Day 4: Golden Monkey trekking

Stop At: Mgahinga Gorilla National Park, Mgahinga Gorilla National Park, Western Region
After sunrise, head to the park headquarters for compact from the senior ranger guide as you make an alternative to either go for full day Golden monkey habituation or have a half day Golden monkey trekking. Keep in mind, though the day is meant for a different activity, you might anonymously track the mountain gorillas as well, so just be ready with your cameras to catch and cover those exmporaneous moments. Plentiful time is given to those who choose to take on the ‘Golden Monkey perspicacity habituation” for research and study aspiration, whereas trekkers only one day is allowed after tracking before you return to the hotel.

Day 5: Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi

Stop At: Kabale, Kabale, Western Region
Constrain to Lake Bunyonyi which is believed to be the deepest lake in Uganda located in Kabale district. The lake is great place for recreation and water bird watching activities. A safari boat ride on the lake ridding you to different islands is just phenomenal and hiking around and on the hills is also an awesome safari activity.

Day 6: Return back to Entebbe/Kampala

Stop At: Kampala, Kampala, Central Region
We mark the end of our safari tour with another scenic and photography rewarding road trip back to Entebbe or Kampala City. Stop at the Equator for a Photo Moment and Souvenirs purchase in Local Crafts Market. Drive to Entebbe if your flight is scheduled that day or to Kampala in case you still have time in the country.
