- All guests must be able to row their kayaks by themselves. One of the requirements is that you are able to get in and out of the kayak on your own and be able to maneuver it. If you are an unexperienced kayaker we highly suggest you choose the earlier tour.

Max weight per person is 220, guests will be weighed onsite. Join us in this 5 STAR experience with a Marine Biologist. Kayak through a mangrove forest, view wildlife in the area, with accurate info & enthusiasm, then reach the World's only Bioluminescent Lagoon!

##QUICK BIO BAY TOUR DETAILS

• Each Bio Bay tour is guided by a certified interpretive Marine Biologist trained in First Aid & CPR.
• Skill Level: For Everyone (kids 6 years and up)
• Duration: 2 hours approx. (Weather permitting)
• This is a 2-person kayak tour. The maximum weight limit is 200 pounds per person. We have NO single kayaks!
• Launch Site: Kayak Village, Fajardo, Puerto Rico
• Bio bay trip includes All required safety equipment, specialized equipment (2-person kayak, etc.), professional field guides, water & snacks, bug repellent, kayak “Lesson 101” before the trip, safety orientation, and most of all…a lot of fun!
• You will get very wet, we recommend bringing extra clothes for after the tour and a towel.

"Due to the immense popularity the Bio Bay tour, at times can get crowded. It’s not uncommon to meet up with other tour groups waiting to access the canal leading to the lagoon. There can be bumping other kayaks along the way. When crowded conditions warrant, Pure Adventure will provide extra guides for your safety."
"Please keep in mind that this tour takes place in a natural environment and that the bioluminescent phenomenon, although rare, can be seen year round. The intensity of brightness is unpredictable and can vary."
"In order to best appreciate the bioluminescent phenomena our tours run at sunset and early evening and it can get quite dark in the mangrove canal. So, if you are afraid of darkness, a first time kayaker, or have small kids we strongly suggest taking the earlier, sunset trip. This way you can see where you are going, get use to the environment and sharpen your kayaking skills"

TRANSPORTATION IS NOT YET CONFIRMED. To set up transportation please text us. Transportation is an additional cost, not paid for at the time of booking. Transportation cost is per person. If the hotel is not shown or if you are not staying at a hotel, no worries please send us your location and we will find the closest pick-up location.

The transportation minimum is 5 guests.

Transportation may or may not be available depending on the date. We cannot provide transportation if requesting it on the same day. Please contact us prior to your tour date, at least 1-2 days before.

Please remember arrival is 30 mins before the start time and the drive from San Juan can be about an hour and 20-30 mins depending on traffic. Please plan your departure accordingly.

Cancellations and refunds: For a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours in advance of the start time of the experience.
