We stop several times along the way to take photos in the Emerald Cave and venture to historical sites, which give you views of the canyon from above.

Itinerary

Paddle through primitive volcanic canyon walls towering over 900’.
Explore giant volcanic boulders at the opening of Black Canyon where many paddlers contemplate a descent into the crystal clear, emerald waters of the Colorado River. Enjoy a health-conscious gourmet lunch on a remote beach, while enjoying the wildlife drama unfold on both Nevada and Arizona shorelines. Be prepared to see desert bighorn sheep, osprey, falcons, bald eagles, and great blue heron in their natural setting!
The Black Canyon is a short distance from the Las Vegas Strip, located in the Lake Mead National Recreation Area. The tour begins in the morning when you arrive at Willow Beach, Arizona.
Evolution Expeditions designed this tour for beginners to advanced paddlers alike.
1-1.5 hours drive time depending on traffic, 4-4.5 hours of tour, and 1-1.5 hours return drive back depending on traffic.

For 10am tour start you will be picked up at the times below:
Bellagio (Pick up: 8:20 am PST) Uber/Ride-share area; Lower level
Mandalay Bay (Pick up: 8:30 am PST). Shuttle/Tour bus lobby on the beach level

For 11am tour start you will be picked up at the times below:

Please be courteous to other participants and promptly show up on time at the tour bus area or launch location provided on the confirmation email. Please have your cellular phone on and available. Shuttles generally arrive back to Las Vegas Resort & Hotels between 100 and 120 minutes after the kayak tour ends. Shuttle times vary with traffic.

Cancellations and refunds: For a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours in advance of the start time of the experience.
