Olumo Rock Private Tour

It is always exciting to listen to the tales of this rock that served as a refuge during the inter-tribal wars. The complete Climb without any shortcuts to the top of the rock will take you about 30 minutes. There is the option of using the stairs if you don’t want to climb. In the 19th Century, Olumo Rock served as a rock of offense and a fortress for the people of Egba Land where it housed the Egba warriors for 3 years.

⁣ At the base of the rock, there is an Art gallery that feautures some local artworks including a museum with interesting artifacts.

Other attractions at the city (Abeokuta) include The Olusegun Obasanjo Presidential Library, the first church in Nigeria(Cathedral Church of St Peter) and the Kuti Museum.
