Losar means “New Year” in Tibetan, and is celebrated at the same time as the New Year of the lunar calendar of Han nationality。During Losar Festival, a lot of public celebrations for the New Year are held in monastery and village in Tibetan area from the ninth to fifteenth of the month, All villagers gather at public houses to prepare meals, drinks, they celebrate the important festival by singing and dancing together.

Day 2: Day 2 Feb. 5, Lanzhou-Linxia-Xiahe Stop At: Bingling Temple Grottoes, West of Yongjing County, Tianshui 730030 China

Day 4: Day 4 Feb.7, Xiahe Stop At: Xiahe County, Xiahe County, Gannan Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Gansu

Day 5: Day 5 Feb.8, Xiahe-Hezuo Stop At: Hezuo, Hezuo, Gannan Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Gansu
Today you have enough time freely to look around the downtown of Xiahe county and Tibetan village, feel the busy Festival atmosphere of local Tibetan people. transfer to Hezuo, visit Milariba Buddhism Pavilion, it is a nine-flours Tibetan style Pagoda architecture, the founders of all sects of Tibetan Buddhism are enshrined in the Pavilion, It is only one nine-flours Buddhism Pagoda in Ando Tibetan area，then return Xiahe. at evening, the Yak Butter Sculpture Exhibition is held in the Grand Sutra Hall of Labrang Monastery with many butter lamps in the halls, the sculptures are even more beautiful with the butter lamps burning before them, thousands of visitors and local people come to visit during the night and stay until well into the night.

After breakfast, go to Monastery to see the religious activity----Zhuanxiangba, at 10:00 AM, the believers come together in the square of Grand Sutra Hall. The monks will carrie out Maitreya Buddha of wood carving from Maitreya Hall, cruising in the crowd of the people and accepting the worship of the people. then transfer to Lanzhou Zhongchuan air port for your departure flight or train.
