Chichen Itza, the Pink lagoon and Pink flamingos
We will start this beautiful day picking you up at the meeting point, the goal is arrive to Chichen Itza early, since is the most visited archaeological site. As soon as it´s open (8:00 am) we will have the chance to enjoy the place with less people, have better pictures and take advantage of the refreshing morning. We will stop in a convenience store to grab something to eat. Inside the archaeological site i will explain you the customs, history, and life of the mayan civilization and the city. Afterwards we will drive to a cenote (natural sinkholes) where we´ll have enough time to swimm and cool off in the crystal clear waters of this amazing natural ecosystem. Afterwards we will drive to a little town and eat in a local restaurant where we can find a great variaty of local food and vegetarian options as well. Then we will hit the road again towards north, this time we will visit the salt mines where we can observe the wonderful pink lagoon and the pink flamingos that inhabit in the biosphere reserve.Itinerary
