What would a medieval city be without its "secret passages"? With this tour you will have the opportunity to visit a little-known route, which will allow you to enjoy a wonderful view from another angle of San Miniato: the Carbonai Alleys. Our journey will start from Via Carducci, where we'll walk along this beautiful alley unearthed by the great collaborative will of the citizens of San Miniato.
After our walk we will visit the historical center, which has a really interesting history and hides places and alleys that not everyone knows and that we are sure will win you over!

One of the first stops will be the beautiful cathedral of Santa Maria Assunta and San Genesio, a beautiful church that dominates the oldest part of the city

Stop At: Rocca Federico II, 56028, San Miniato Italy

Once reached to the highest part of the city, we'll have the opportunity to admire and visit the symbol of the city of San Miniato: the Tower of Federico II. From its top we could enjoy one of the most beautiful views in our area!

Stop At: Chiesa o Santuario del Santissimo Crocifisso, Via dello Sdrucciolo, 56028, San Miniato Italy

A beautiful Sanctuary, a favorite destination for couples who want to get married! A very simple church on the outside but which hides inside wonderful decorations and a miraculous crucifix!

Duration: 30 minutes

Stop At: Palazzo del Seminario, Piazza della Repubblica, 56028, San Miniato Italy

Walking through the narrow streets of San Miniato we'll also have the opportunity to see the Palazzo del Seminario overlooking the entire Piazza della Repubblica (also known as Piazza del Seminario) with its frescoes and ancient fourteenth-century shops
