Stop At: Catedral de Puno, 416 Jr. Ayacucho, Puno Peru

The Cathedral of Puno, designated as a Minor Basilica, was constructed in the 17th century and features a stunning façade sculpted by Simon de Asto. It is situated on the Fence of the Devil and was completed on May 25th, 1757. This impressive structure is a prime example of Spanish baroque architecture, incorporating Andean elements that provide it with a distinct mestizo character.

Stop At: Parque Huajsapata, Cerro Huajsapata, Puno Peru

Huajsapata, which translates to "witness of my love," is situated in the western part of Puno. This natural highland offers a spectacular panoramic view of the city of Puno and the renowned Lake Titicaca. At the summit of Huajsapata, visitors can observe a monument dedicated to Manco Capac, the founder of the Inca Empire.

This monument, built in 1846, is situated three blocks away from the main street of Puno. It is constructed in honor of the Peruvian soldiers who valiantly fought in the Battle of Junin and Ayacucho. The monument features two roundabouts on either side and holds significant historical and moral value for the people of Peru.
