Anneliese was the perfect guide for our group of five. Her knowledge, positive energy and the ability to weave the attractions (food, architecture, art, etc) with the cultural history of Little Havana is unsurpassed. She lives, breathes and loves this community and it is clear the community loves her back. She knows everyone! Hands down the best food tour any of us have ever been on. Highly recommended! We met as strangers and departed as friends.

Our guide, Anneliese, provided us with a wealth of knowledge about Little Havana. We spent lots of time walking in the area and stopping at restaurants, coffee shops, bakeries, bars, markets and monuments, as well as a cigar and clothing shop. Getting information from a local with ties to the area made for an excellent experience. She knew all of the best shops and places to get the best food and pastries.

Excellent 4 hour tour . Plenty of lovely food along the way learning about all the history of Little Havana. There were a mix of ages in our group from families with young kids to older couples, plenty for everyone to enjoy. Well worth the money and our tour guide Annalise was brilliant

I had an amazing time overthere. The tour guide was so friendly and kind. She really knew everything about the Cuban history and she really inspired me with the stories she told. She let us ate a lot of different kind of foods. IT WAS SO GOOD!! The tour ended at an chocolat bar, I recommend you to try the chocolat with Guava. It was one of the best things I’ve ever ate. I really recommend this activity!

I booked this tour to take my 16 year old nieces who love art and wanted to learn more about the Cuban culture. Annalise was our tour guide, raised in little Havana she was a wealth of information!! The girls LOVED the tour as well as myself! Come hungry, lots of food! From learning about Little Havana's history and the changes over the years to learning about Cuban history and the evolution of little Havana to the extensive food, coffee, cigar making shops, old family stores still present and the art museums this was the absolute perfect tour for us! The girls can't wait to come back and take another tour with Annalise! HIGHLY recommend!

Highly recommend. We had a wonderful afternoon touring Little Havana. Our bilingual guide Anna met us a resturant in Lttle Havana and we started w history/cultural/food discussion while we sampled a local platter. We then set out out visited several local restaurants, points of interest and food stands. We continued to learn culture and sampled local delicacies like Cuban sandwiches, home grown fruit drinks and venuzuelan chocolate. The area was much safer than I had envisioned it, a mix of local customers, shop owners and tourists and Anna made it very enjoyable and interesting. Way more food than my wife and I could eat. We brought half of it home. Alcohol was available but not included in this tour.

Farouq was a wonderful guide! He took us to 6 great food spots to give us a well rounded taste of Cuban and Central American dishes. It was a ton of food but Farouq spaced out the eating so we could enjoy it all. He also told us all about the history of Calle Ocho and the people who live there.

This is easily one of the best best food tours I have ever been on.

That says something, as I have been on city and food tours across many different citys including Chicago, Los Angeles, Nashville, Portland, Memphis, New Orleans, Seattle, Detroit to name a few. I have also been on multiple Miami based food tours with a different popular company here in town, including their Little Havana tour. This blows that one out of the water by a mile!

It is not just the passion of the tour guide/owner for the area. It's the knowledge, history and choice of locations that I found were simply much better. In the past three years, I have been on a Little Havana food/tour, each of those years. By contrast, I left my tour knowing so much more about Little Havana and the culture than I had on previous tours combined! As a lover of history, this was very rewarding for comparable cost.

If I had to recommend between the two companies, this is by far a much better experience and value for the time and money. It takes a lot to impress me because I travel so much. However, this tour and company really stands out from the pack.

      Highly recommended!

I am sure that the dishes are subject to change with the season, however along the tour we had stopped at the following establishments for a variety of samplings and history of Cuban fare. You are going to be full by the end, so do not eat prior to going on your tour! You are definitely going to get your money's worth!

      Versailles Restaurant Cubano:
      Mi Rinconcito Mexicano:
Bay of Pigs Museum and Library:
      El Pub Restaurant:
      Los Pinarenos Fruteria:
Cubaocho Museum and Performing Arts Center:
      Guayaba y Chocolate:

This tour was great and highly recommended! Very relaxing also since it was just the three of us. Faruk Bishevac, the owner of Viator agency in Miami, took us to many local establishments on or around 8th street Ocho street. He started to introduce us to Cuban coffee and pastry at The Versaille, a local hot spot.
From there we went to Mi Rinconcito for lunch. pre ordered. From there to a Guantánamo Bay Historical small museum which was extremely interesting. Faruk is a history buff and could answer all our questions. We went back to Ocho Street and visited an other coffee shop for a different kind of coffee, Guantánamo Memorial Street, Fresh Sugarcane stop, Ocho Cafe with some of Frank Sinatra's furniture and we ended in a Chocolatery/art gallery.
Thank you again Faruk for this fabulous tour!

This is a small group tour offered by an owner run company. Our guide Farouq spends quite a bit of time prepping for this tour and finds off the beaten path historical spots to give the full picture of the Cuban community in Miami. This is much more than a cubano sandwich and cigar factory type of tour. The food however is plentiful and all from small family owned shops throughout little havana. If you are looking for an in-depth and intimate experience -- this is your tour !

Absolutely wonderful time. Our guide, Faruk, is highly is knowledgeable of the local area and a consummate professional. You'll have a personalized tour of several of the local eateries, many of which are off the beaten track, sampling delicious food from coffee and pastries to empanadas and tacos. His insight to the unique history of Miami will keep you captivated and experience the charm of little Havana as though you were a local. Come hungry!

I thought this was a pretty interesting tour. Nothing outstanding. For people unfamiliar with the Cuban diaspora this is a fairly comprehensive overview of its history. Our guide, Faruk, seemed to have a good command of Cuban history and the local Miami community. My main criticism of this tour was the lack of variety in food that we were exposed to. I have had better variety on some other tours. I must compliment Faruk on his patient demeanor when dealing with some members of the group who were less than gastronomically adventurous. Overall, a good way to spend half a day.
