Cloud Forest hiking

Cloud Forest hiking

This is a taste of lush, sub-tropical jungle landscape, close to Salta city, and in complete contrast to some of the more rugged desert terrain of north-west Argentina.

Our guide is experienced in hiking all terrain, and speaks English and Spanish.

We have groups of a maximum of four people, so every hike can be tailor-made to your taste.

We will provide a typical salteño lunch of empanadas, included in the price.

This particular short trek is suitable for all abilities.

Itinerary

A gentle morning hike through the sub-tropical scenery of the Cloud Forest: this short expedition of three to four hours in the Yungas is suitable for all. We trek in San Lorenzo, a lovely spot only a few km from Salta city, and the traditional summer retreat to cooler climes.
