Ruaha National Park is the largest national park in Tanzania. The addition of the Usangu Game Reserve and other important wetlands to the park in 2008 increased its size to about 20,226 square kilometres (7,809 sq mi), making it the largest park in Tanzania and East Africa.

You will get the chance to visit mikumi national park as well as selous game reserve.

Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival: At Julius Nyerere International Airport

Stop At: Dar es Salaam, Dar es Salaam, Dar Es Salaam Region
Meet and Greet at Julius Nyerere International Airport (JNIA) transfer to hotel for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Dar es salaam - Selous

Stop At: Selous Game Reserve, Selous Game Reserve, Lindi Region
Pick you up at the hotel and transferred to Selous, On arrival, get a hot lunch in one of the restaurant inside the park, then depart for an afternoon game drive until sunset. You will join a professional guide and an armed ranger for a walking safari into the wilderness and experience the wilderness on foot. This is a very enlightening trip where you will learn a lot about the flora and fauna of the reserve and its inhabitants. Return to lodge for lunch and relaxation. In the afternoon, experience a boat safari on the mighty Rufiji River. You will glide through groups of hippos, crocodiles, villages and see amazing bird life along the way. Return to lodge and overnight at lodge/tented camp.

Day 3: Selous

Stop At: Selous Game Reserve, Selous Game Reserve, Lindi Region
After breakfast, depart for a Half day of safari drives within this vast reserve at the afternoon you will transferred to Ruaha National Pack at the late of evening for dinner and overnight at lodge/tented camp.

Day 4: Ruaha

Enjoy full day safari drives within Ruaha National Park with packed lunches. The remoteness of Ruaha gives you the perfect impression of a real safari in wild Africa. Return to lodge/tented camps in the evenings and overnight.

The journey will take you approximately 7 hrs through the most amazing and truly wild and untouched areas of Tanzania. Arrive at Selous Game Reserve and overnight at lodge/tented camp.
