2 DAYS ZANZIBAR TO MIKUMI Flight Safari

This is an exciting adventure for all the travelers and especially those visiting for the first time. Mikumi National park in Tanzania is well known for its diverse wildlife and beautiful landscapes. Visitors should expect to see a variety of animals and enjoy the natural beauty of the park.

Mikumi National Park is part of the larger Selous ecosystem together with the Selous Game Reserve and harbours remarkable numbers of bird species and animals. The animals that can be spotted at Mikumi NP include giraffes, elephants, buffaloes, hippos, impalas, warthogs, zebras, wildebeests, elands, lions and many other antelopes.

Itinerary

Day 1: Zanzibar to Mikumi National Park

Stop At: Mikumi National Park, Mikumi National Park, Morogoro Region
Arrive at ZNZ airport and board your flight to Mikumi. At Mikumi airstrip you will be met by our driver guide. You will then proceed to do the afternoon Game drive in the national park. A lunch break will be taken for you to enjoy a bush lunch at the Mikumi Cottage while watching a few baboons outside the restaurant.
Continue to explore the abundant wildlife at Mikumi Tanzania after your lunch break in the comfort of your seat on an open-sided or open – roof safari jeep.

In the evening you will go to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2: Mikumi National Park - Zanzibar

Stop At: Mikumi National Park, Mikumi National Park, Morogoro Region
After your breakfast today, you will visit the nearby Maasai community village for a Cultural Tour. This will be followed up by entry into the National park gates for the Game drives. You will stop at the Cottage restaurant for lunch, then depart to the airstrip for your flight back to Zanzibar.
Departure time is 14:15 pm.
