As part of this experience you'll discover the breathtaking landscape and vibrant artistic life two pueblos on the shores of Mexico’s largest lake.

What you'll do:

• 1-hour drive to Chapala with your private guide.

• Visit the beautiful old train station of Chapala, nowadays a museum, to learn about the region's history in a fun and relaxed way.

• Walk in the malecon of both Chapala and Ajijic to admire the awe-inspiring views of the lake while tasting local snacks and/or tequila cocktails.

• Explore the local neighborhoods, markets, plazas and boutiques with a private guide.

Stop At: Chapala, Chapala

Our experience will begin with a visit to the spectacular old train station of Chapala, where you will learn about the town's history and indigenous origins. Then we'll walk on the town's beautiful malecon before exploring the local church, market and plaza to get a glimpse of the peaceful lifestyle of an authentically Mexican fishing village.

As we admire the scenic views, we'll get to taste the local snacks and learn the most interesting facts about the largest lake in Mexico.

Stop At: Ajijic, Ajijic

Our experience will continue with a visit to the picturesque neighborhood of La Floresta, in Ajijic, where you'll get to admire the most beautiful houses in town.

Afterwards, we'll walk in the town’s colourful cultural corridor to visit the arts and crafts boutiques and stores, where you'll be able to admire a wide diversity of local products.

Then, we'll have lunch and drinks at a lovely garden-restaurant. Both national and international cuisines are available. You will love this place!

We'll finish our day by enjoying the sunset at the lake's shore while having ice cream or a tequila cocktail.
