Calabar carnival festival , tagged Africa's biggest street party is what makes Calabar the tourism capital in Nigeria. Itinerary

Day 1: Arrivals into Calabar

Stop At: Calabar, Calabar, Cross River State
Tourists will be treated to a warm reception at the Transcorp Hotel with the Motley signature chapman. Group arrival photograph is scheduled after which you will be checked in to your room

Day 2: Explore the city of Calabar

Stop At: Slave History Museum, Moor Rd. Marina Resort, Calabar 540261 Nigeria
Visit the fifthteenth century slave trading warehouse on the Marina beach where exhibits of the local slave market including shackles and chains and a variety of currencies used to buy humans at the time.

Continue on to visit the Mary Slessor house. A missionary worker of the United presbyterian church who is remembered for putting a stop to the abhorrent traditional practice of putting twins and their mothers to death. Explore her caravan which ha now been rebuilt into a more permanent structure. We also get to visit the Tomb of Mary Slessor in Duke town.

After the city tour, we get grooving with fun and excitement at the hotel. Enjoy the grill and assorted drinks available on sale. Feel groovy with the blast for the woofers rendering thrilling music to make your time memorable.

After a well deserved rest, we roll out to join the carnival train on the streets of Calabar - Africa's biggest street party. (If you want the costume, we can arrange for you at a fee)

Day 3: Explore the Wildlife of Cross River

Stop At: Cross River National Park, Ikot Offiong - Ekang Road, Akampa 542101 Nigeria
Wake up to a beautiful morning, take a morning walk and refresh yourself in preparation to visit the wildlife at the Cross River National Park. A worthy safari experience.
Duration: 3 hours

Stop At: Tinapa Free Zone, Calabar 540213 Nigeria
Enjoy an amazing boat cruise on the Tinapa lake overlooking the palace of the Obong of Calabar. You also get a view of the Calabar seaport and the International conference centre. A moonlight experience. This is followed by private time while other tourists take turns for their cruise.

After a well deserved rest for the evening, we roll out again to join the carnival on the streets of Calabar. A FUNtastic night for all. (Costumes can be arranged for tourists at a fee).

Day 4: Feel the pulse of the breathtaking waterfall cascade

Stop At: Kwa Falls, Oban Road Aningeje Town, Oban Division Of The Cross River National Park, Calabar Nigeria
Enjoy the spectacular waterfall located in a narrow, steep gorge on the headwaters of the Kwa river.Characterized by well arranged staircase of 234 steps from the top to bottom. Swell into the sand beach which is the icing on the cake for the days adventure. Indeed, Kwa falls is Nigeria's own paradise.

Spend the early part of the evening in an entertaining games arcade where you engage in different fun games to usher you into yet another round of carnival fun on the streets of Calabar.

This is the final night in calabar and the city will be on shutdown.

Start the day with taking a recap walk around the facility at your leisure (random photo and video shoot will be ongoing). Competition amongst participating cities (Lagos, Enugu, Abuja, Portharcourt and Calabar will be held at the games arcade). Winner will emerge as the Motley faces for 2020 vacation.

Stop At: Tinapa Free Zone, Calabar 540213 Nigeria
Early set out for the Calabar city shutdown at the carnival grounds. Memories will be made, special parades and barbeque party. Mega fun to close the vacation experience. Refreshments are out of pocket at the carnival grounds.

Day 5: Vacation comes to a memorable end

After breakfast, you get your bags unto the bus for departure to where the tour started. And its a wrap!
