Meet your guide at the Plaça Sant Jaume in Barcelona's Gothic Quarter to begin this 3-hour culinary walking tour. As you head to your first tapas bar of the day, chat with your local guide about Barcelona's cultural legacy, its gastronomy, and the historical landmarks as you see.

Stroll the streets where Antoni Gaudí and Pablo Picasso once walked as you get to know the history and the flavors of the Catalonian capital city.. Jostle for space with locals in some of Barcelona's most vibrant tapas bars and learn about tapas etiquette, like how to order and how to share, from your guide. Sample dishes like Iberian ham, various cheeses from around Spain, pimientos de padrón, the spicy patatas bravas, traditional grilled bread with tomato, fresh octopus, and several other dishes accompanied by fine local wine pairings and the best company. After a sip and a nibble, it's time to move onto the next spot and repeat the delicious process.

Visit four of Barcelona's best tapas bars/restaurants in total, then bid your guide farewell at the end of the excursion with a full stomach and a deeper understanding of Catalonian cuisine and culture.
