Pyrography Wood Burning Class

Pyrography Wood Burning Class

Pryography is an art technique that involves using high temperatures to 'draw' designs and patterns in to wood, and also add shading and texture to the working surface. In this Inspired Art Studio class, participants will learn the basics of this art form while creating 4 different wood art pieces, using Colorado Wildlife and the Rocky Mountain Landscape as inspiration. These pieces will then be assembled into a wall hanging or mobile art piece that can be hung in the creators home to as a souvenir of their time spent in the Colorado Rockies.

Itinerary

Learn how to create patterns, designs, and shading on wood by using an art technique called pryography, or wood burning, while creating a one of a kind wall hanging inspired by the beauty of the Colorado Rocky Mountains.
