Teixchel Weaving Workshop

Through the funds from this workshop you are providing fair pay to your artisan teacher and helping our artisan-owned association continue to pay for our storefront location. Our storefront location gives us an outlet to share our tradition with others while providing for our families!

Itinerary

- Learn how the backstrap loom is set up and how the threads are prepared for the loom.
- Pick colors for your scarf’s design
- Have your own personal weaving teacher (one of our artisan associates) begin your scarf and teach

you how to weave
- Photos from the experience, emailed afterwards (only available Wednesday and Friday mornings)
